B16s don't exactly have a lot of torque. If I remember correctly they barely had 100 ft/lbs.

The car weighs 1500 lbs. A b16 has a minimum of 160hp which would totally overpower the front wheels and yes, lead to massive torque steer. You have to consider the size of the car it's going into.
